Story about LinkedIn Icon
Linkedin is one of the those companies which is not fickle in changing its logo. Interestingly, its first logo survived from early 2003 till late 2010. The only change was a change of colors. First Linkedin icon had a combination of white color and two shades of blue, and in 2005 the color combination was changed to black, blue and white. From the very inception, the logo was very stylish, trendy and way better than others of its
time. The complete logo was professional to look at, which is perhaps why people took the services seriously. At this time, till 2010, Linkedin wanted to spread its name far and wide. This logo helped better than they hoped.

This is Linkedin’s current company logo.

Like all companies that are well established in the minds and
hearts of the customers, LinkedIn has by now decided to alter, or rather, shorten its logo. Whereas previously, the logo completely sported the company’s name, in its new avatar, the logo only showed the symbols “in”.
The company took a risk of doing this because according to its research, people are already well acquainted or familiar with its font style and color. Whenever “in” along with the company’s symbolic colors are used, people can see whose logo it is: of Linkedin.
