Firing Gun Icon in Android Style

This Firing Gun icon has Android KitKat style. If you use the icons for Android apps, we recommend using our latest Material Icons icon pack (please check our sidebar on the right). Otherwise, it's a solid icon pack that looks good in small resolutions, either on the web or in print. It's characterized by thick lines, smooth corners, and is optimized for 24x24 pixels.
It is a small, revolver-type gun with a short handle and very short barrel, somewhat like a children's cap gun. It has two starburst explosions coming out of the barrel, indicating that it is being fired.

Idea of Firing Gun Icon by D. Rubber

We've received the idea on September 25, 2013 and created the icons on September 30, 2013

A firing gun: an old gun that fires (no bullet in the icon please). Idea behind this: some machine / device set into firing mode. Please make the icon look like this icon: in combination with this icon: (do not draw it like it's a big explosion, just a tiny explosion. No barrel smoke please, and turn the explosion icon 90 degrees counterclockwise as if the gun just went off shooting to the left). The latter icon is clearly the fire explosion coming out of the barrel of the gun. This way the icon displays a firing mode of a machine, a gun, a device, etc. Maybe tilt the gun a bit less horizontal so that it is clear to the user that the gun went off (like you see in the movies). Thanks a lot!

Nice icon! Thanks.

Notice that I am not looking for a normal gun icon (I know that a handgun icon already has been created, see or  ) I am specifically looking for a gun icon that tells the user "if you press this button with this icon on it, you are setting the machine into firing mode". That kind of icon does not exist (haven't seen such icon elsewhere too, even iconarchive/iconfinder doesn't have such icon)! Thanks for your understanding.
