In the recent years, apps have solved a huge chunk of humanity’s most pressing problems, from finding parked cars to knowing when to pee in the middle of a movie. There are more or less a million of apps existing today. While life has been made easier by a number of practical apps, at least a quarter of them are also possibly dumb. If you’re in any kind of inconvenience ever, just seek refuge in the fact that there’s probably an app for that. Need someone else to say “Yo” for you? There’s an app for that! Need a fake call to get out of an awkward situation? Worry not, there’s an app for that! And whenever you’re having a bad day, there’s also an app to make it worse, e.g. Unfortunate Cookie—your go-to app for words as uplifting as “You’re funny looking and your mother only pretended to love you.” It’s called the ‘Dark Cookie’ sometimes.
For iPhone users, the app symbol used is the one with the drawing tools forming an ‘A’, and enclosed in a circle.
