Usage of the Help Icon
The first step to getting help around here is finding where to get it. Let’s go back to the time you wanted to pull your hair out in frustration because you couldn’t fix that damn PC. You proceeded to the internet; they said it’s a safe place. Your search directed you to thousands of websites with forums, videos, and troubleshooting guides, and you got kind of relieved knowing that you share the same pain with online strangers. You clicked one of the links, then scrolled through the website, but to no avail. You clicked another one. And another one. Then stood up from your seat, picked up that damn PC, and tossed it out the window. It was the best thing you could have done. Next to calling up a technician or maybe having a little patience. At least that PC was bound to die anyway.

In future situations, the help icon can step in anytime between the moment that a problem shows up and the moment you decide to throw your stuff away. The image of a circle with the question mark inside it shall be there to help you.

Or perhaps a helping hand icon can do the trick.
