This Google Plus icon is a responsive icon. This means that it's optimized for four resolutions, from tiny 16x16 until highly detailed 80x80. The style comes from the latest Microsoft Office, which makes it perfect for any Windows applications, in particular, those with ribbon toolbar control. Unlike other icon packs that have merely hundreds of icons, this monster icon pack contains 15,500 icons, all in the same style and quality.
We've received the idea on April 04, 2012 and created the icons on May 22, 2012
I know that you have a few social media icons, but could add Forrst and stuff like that?
Story about Google Plus Icon
Google Plus is the social networking service that no one used, ever. You probably made a Google+ profile at some point and then, like the millions of others, left it in the cold. Once upon a time, Google+ tried to go up against social media behemoths Facebook and Twitter—and we all know how that one ended.
In 2011, Google+ was launched as Google’s fourth attempt at a social networking service; its equally unknown predecessors were Google Buzz (2010–2011), Google Friend Connect (2008–2012), and Orkut (2004–2014). Google+ offered to group our friends into ‘Circles’ in order to filter our privacy by limiting the people who sees our posts to a certain set of friends. Turns out, we don’t like privacy and there is a pressing need for everyone to see multiple photos of one baby. Welcome to the internet, G+! This is where people need all the validation they could get, even from strangers. The official Google+ logo today comprises of a capital ‘G+’ written in Google’s Product Sans typeface, with a bright red background.
