This is the Mouse icon for Windows 10. Here we go. Optimized for 32x32 px, these are the simplest icons in the line style. Downloadable formats are PNG and SVG, among others. Icons8 icon pack is unique in providing a huge number of icons designed by the same team of four designers who create the new icons every working day in the same style and with the same quality. Same cool as the Bat Face, huh.
This icon is a computer mouse that is oval in shape and would fit snugly in someone's hand. It is separated into 3 sections, a top half that is separated into a left and right button and a large bottom portion.
By now, billions of mice have crawled into homes and offices worldwide. The computer mouse has come a long way from the awkward prototype created in 1964 by Douglas Engelbart. It had a wooden body that encased a circuit board and two metal wheels underneath. It was called “mouse” mainly because of the tail-looking cord attached to its rear.
Since then, tech companies such as Xerox, Apple, Microsoft, and Logitech held their own mice in captive to refine and develop it further. The first wireless mouse was introduced by Logitech in 1991, invalidating the reason why the mouse was a named mouse. Today, with the gradual disappearance of the desktop computer and the rise of portable, touchscreen gadgets, the mouse could sadly be headed back to the hole.
So as an homage to the computer mouse’s former glory, we used the combined forces of all animal-named things to create a bunch of mouse icons.
The mouse’s soul sister, the cursor, is also here. It comes in the arrow and hand form.
For those looking for the rodent type of mouse, the following icons are here to serve:
