This is a Printer icon. We've made it in iOS style, first introduced in iOS version 7 and supported in all later releases up until now (at least iOS 11). This style is based on thin two-pixel lines and is optimized for 50x50 px. Unlike other vector icon packs that have merely hundreds of icons, this icon pack contains 12,600 icons, all in the same style and quality.
We are simple beings; a long-time dream of many is to someday be able to print out pizza from the internet. That’s it—that may or may not be the actual end goal of humanity. And so, true to our human sensibilities, a huge amount of our time and effort have since been directed to making that dream a reality. 3D printing, which took off in the recent years, is already venturing into food printing—a far cry from what Johannes Gutenberg could have ever dreamed of.
Gutenberg is basically the man credited for getting things going in the printing world by inventing the movable type printing press around 1439. Early printers were mainly used for spreading knowledge in the form of book production. Since then, many printing gurus have chipped in to make printing more accessible, and more importantly, beneficial to humanity’s wants.
The printer that we have here is a fake one. It can’t print pizza or anything, really. But, it is a fine, fine symbol of actual printers. The most recognizable symbol for printer is the inkjet type, which is also the most commonly used kind of printer.
