If icons were children (and they pretty much are, for us), we’d have to love them equally. With icons, there are no obligations. Our favorite icons are collected in the Very Basic category. Big news: from now on, we give it away for free.
Our web app goes beyond helping you find and locate icons — just take a look at these top four features (the rest three a listed here). We built them to save time, money, and brain cells. Plus, you can use not only icons created by us, but any SVG icons you have.
You can change the color of all of the icons you’ve downloaded on the fly with the click of a button. It works for PNG, SVG, EPS, PDF, as well as for embedded PNG and SVG. Easy.
Every single one of our 14,500+ icons can be downloaded as:
- PNG of any size up to 4000 x 4000 px
- Simplified SVG — for the web and practically everything else
- Original SVG — good if you’re going to edit the icons in Sketch or Illustrator
- PDF for Xcode
- EPS for Illustrator
- Velvet blacklight poster
3. Generate HTML
Generate HTML code and copy and paste it right into your own page. This way you won’t need to upload the files to the server.
We generate three kinds of snippets:
- HTML with SVG source code
- IMG tag with base64-encoded source
- CSS injection with base64-encoded data
4. Generating Fonts
If you pick a bunch of icons you can also generate fonts on the fly. Unlike FontAwesome which provides only pre-generated font files, you can download a font that contains only the icons you need. Downloads are drastically smaller and faster.
Generate fonts in three easy steps:
- Click Collections tab
- Select several icons from the center
- Click the Generate Font button
We’re almost positive that you’ve learned something new about our web app. Go ahead and give it a test drive on our free Very Basic category for yourself.
Comments? Questions? Legal Threats?
Talking about icons gets us awfully excitable, so maybe we skipped something. Leave us a comment and we’ll get back to you right away.
